So...this is the plan

OK, this is Plan A. To try and keep costs down, I'm keeping as much as the original framing, windows and door positionings as possible. Currently, there's a huge opening at the front, which will need to be closed in, windows along the right wall, which will stay, and windows at the back which will be partially enclosed and turned into French Doors. This will all be open plan, with the services to the outside walls to keep costs down.

Like my drawings? Created it on some US website and then imported it into PowerPoint...oh so professional.

This would make a great granny flat!

When I bought my house I always knew I would turn this garage into a granny flat. It was a great size, already on a slab, solid construction and perfect for rellies, visitors, to rent out, or...Josh's actual granny! So..welcome to my first post. I've never built or renovated anything before, but always been interested in property, so while this is only a small project in the scheme of things, I'd love you to share my journey...
